Creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.

Hi, I’m Denise! With over a decade of experience in early years development, I founded Dees Curious Minds to offer families a reliable, highly personal alternative to large nurseries. I believe that children thrive best in a structured yet flexible home environment where they receive individual care and affection.
My philosophy centers on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, combined with child-led play. Every day is filled with reading, sensory play, basic logic games, and outdoor explorations to trigger native curiosity.
Designed with love, structure, and flexibility to support your family's needs and your child's milestones.
1 – 5 YearsA structured, full-day program providing a consistent routine of healthy meals, outdoor play, structured learning, and quiet nap times.
2 – 5 YearsDaily learning milestones based on EYFS framework, including language development, mathematics, arts, crafts, and sensory exploration.
6 Months – 5 YearsPart-time scheduling tailored to work-life balance, featuring the same high-quality developmental activities and social integration.
A child-led, structured curriculum that weaves play, sensory tasks, and cognitive milestones together.
Art, crafts, clay, and painting sessions.
We encourage children to express themselves through hands-on creative experiments. Artistic activities boost fine motor skills, encourage independence, and allow children to discover colors, textures, and shapes naturally.

Language building and picture storybook hours.
Early literacy is nurtured through structured story circles, picture books, and basic phonetic games. We build vocabulary, listening capabilities, and confidence, setting a strong foundation for preschool speech.

Gardening, nature discovery, and fresh air play.
Physical and organic interactions are vital. Children explore our private garden space, plant seedlings, investigate leaves, and engage in outdoor sensory play that encourages curiosity about the natural world.

Collaborative play, emotional regulation, and sharing.
In our small home group, kids learn critical social tools: greeting peers, sharing toys, communicating needs, and understanding emotions. Group games build lasting empathy and healthy social habits.
